Pritzker Prize for Riken Yamamoto

The architect of The Circle, Riken Yamamoto, has won the Pritzker Prize. It is the most recognised architecture prize in the world.

With The Circle at Zurich Airport, Riken Yamamoto has realised his only building in Europe to date and created a building complex with alleyways and squares that is second to none.
In the three years since it opened, The Circle has become an important business and service hub and a meeting place, with around 5,000 employees, a university hospital, restaurants, coworking spaces, two hotels and a unique convention centre.
